They all sound the same, but each plays a different role in a sentence.

 They are written differently  and  all three, have different meaning.  

" Too " ( with two o`s ) means excessively or more than desired.

Example :

  • " This t-shirt is too tight ( adjective ). I can barely breathe." ( mal consigo respirar)
  • " This coffee is too hot to drink "
  • " She was driving too fast on the highway "
  • " It is too late to change the reservation "
  • " It is too late to go, we will not be able to arrive on time " 

" To " is a preposition used for direction, purpose, or comparison.

Example:

  • " I am going to the North." 
  • " I am popping back home to pick up my keys."
  • " I prefer wine to beer " means you like wine more than beer. You are expressing a preference by comparing two things.
  • " Prefer  X  to  Y  " is the correct structure.
  • " I prefer tea to coffee. "
  • " She prefers classical music to pop."

" Two "  is a cardinal number .

  • " I have two cars. "
